As
a legal action committee, the Coalition seeks to:
Promote
good forest stewardship through the use of consistent, reliable forest certification standards which benefit both the environment
and the marketplace for forest products.
Ensure market access for a variety of credible forest certification standards including (but
not limited to): American Tree Farm, CSA, FSC, PEFC and SFI.
Encourage the FTC and other stakeholders to provide guidance which achieve 1 and 2.
